"Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God!" (1Jn 4:7).
The evil one and his minions are sowing confusion and division everywhere! -- In our Church, our governments, our politics, our medical, drug, food, and entertainment industries; throughout all aspects of life, including our gender identity.
Can we see the writing on the wall, that this is not of God?
The evil one is manipulating us, God's Children; tempting us to attack one another, rather than recognize who the real enemy is. Thus he can sit back and let us draw one another into hatred, darkness and war.
I remind us of his tactic. "For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places" (Eph 6:12).
Certainly our love for one another is not meant to be a warm, fuzzy, superficial sort of love based on the spirit of the world, the flesh and the devil (beware, this "love" is being promoted everywhere). It is meant to be the love of the Holy Spirit of God.
"By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in flesh is of God, and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of the antichrist" (1Jn 4:2,3).
To confess Jesus is to "keep His commandments and do what pleases Him" (1Jn 3:22).
Our calling as Christians is simple but not easy because Satan is always on the prowl, and we have our concupiscence to contend with.
Our calling is to cling to Christ who is the "the Way, the Truth and the Life!" If others choose not to follow Christ and His Truth, we must not engage in battle with them on their level. We are called to something greater; engaging in the real behind the scenes battle, through prayer, virtue and the love of Christ.
"Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world, therefore what they say is of the world, and the world listens to them. We are of God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and he who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and of error" (1Jn 4:4-6).
Dear brothers and sisters, let us together strive to know and love Christ more! If we are Consecrated to Mary, she takes us by the hand and teaches us to live ever-more fully this great grace of our Baptism.
And, let us remember where Christ is substantially present here on earth as He is in Heaven: In the Holy Eucharist where He waits for us day and night!
"Behold, I am with you always, even until the end of time!" (Mat 28:20)
"To Our Divine Eucharistic Bridegroom, through Our Immaculate Mother!"
